ETHEL, America’s premier postclassical string quartet, and post-modern choreographer/director Annie-B Parson return to the Winter Garden to restage their 2008 collaboration, Wait for Green.

ETHEL engaged in an intensive study of dance with Parson before writing the music for Wait for Green. The performance’s compositions spring directly from the dance structures they learned, and the staging folds back on the score, creating physical responses to the music's sonic structures.

Wait for Green was commissioned by arts>World Financial Center in 2008 for its 20th Birthday.
