World Financial Center complex
New York Classical Theatre creates a new experience for theater enthusiasts with their signature production of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, designed to carry the audience from one end of the World Financial Center to the other.
During the month of March, you will have the opportunity to watch the company during open rehearsals on site at various locations within the WFC Complex. Weekly schedules throughout the month of March will be posted on our website and Facebook pages.
New York Classical Theatre will also be in residence at One New York Plaza for their 2010 season creating costumes for three Shakespeare productions. Visitors will see their designers and artisans draping, dyeing and stitching the elaborate costumes for Hamlet, Richard III, and Much Ado About Nothing. Costumes from past shows will also be on display.
Performances of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, take place April 1–18 (selected evenings). Audience members will enter the world of the play as they follow the actors from place to place throughout nearly 3.5 acres of the World Financial Center, which will serve as the set for the production.
