DAY 2 BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
CHOPIN 200 is a weeklong series of performances celebrating the 200th birthday of Romantic classical composer Frederic Chopin. The festival features 200 hours of the composer’s works performed on five pianos by an eclectic line-up of pianists, including NPR From the Top host Christopher O’Riley; Eduardus Halim (substituting for Claire Huangci); Kimball Gallagher; Vassily Primakov; Jeffrey Swann and Claire Huangci, winner of Eighth National Chopin Piano Competition of the United States.
