New York families will celebrate the Chinese New Year with a colorful and fun afternoon of free crafts, music, dancing, and performances at the World Financial Center Winter Garden on January 28, 2012.
Cads, cuckolds, and coquettes will take center stage when New York Classical Theatre returns to the World Financial Center Winter Garden next month with 18 free performances of three one-act intertwining Molière comedies exploring the dark side of love, announced presenter Arts Brookfield.
Arts Brookfield’s monthly knitting and crocheting club, WFC In The Loop, kicks off its winter season on January 20th, inviting yarn crafters of all levels to take a lunchtime break from the daily grind and come create placemats, potholders, and other handmade housewares. This year, WFC In The Loop will partner with Habitat For Humanity – New York (www.habitatnyc.org), donating all projects to twelve New York City families who are slated to become first-time homeowners in 2012.
