NEW YORK - The restaurants of the World Financial Center are celebrating their culinary specialties, testing new menu items and showcasing signature dishes at EAT: World Financial Center Restaurant Showcase. The 17 eateries of the World Financial Center will offer a tasting of world class cuisine for as little as $1 (and as much as $5) under the palm trees of the World Financial Center Winter Garden, 220 Vesey Street, Thursday, March 26, from 11:00am to 2:30pm.

This popular event draws over 6,000 diners.

And Brookfield Properties, owner of the World Financial Center, continues its expanded program to "go green" - so all the plates, knives, forks and napkins are from recycled materials and biodegradable.
