World Financial Center Restaurants To Offer Up Signature Dishes And New Delights For Under $5, March 12

“EAT: World Financial Center Restaurant Showcase” to fill Winter Garden
with harvest of culinary delights, 11am – 2:30pm

New York, NY (March 3, 2010) – The restaurants of the World Financial Center will dish out signature dishes and preview new menu items for less than $5 at the ever-popular EAT: World Financial Center Restaurant Showcase from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm on Friday, March 12.

Just in time for lunch, the center’s diverse collection of fourteen eateries will serve up sweet and savory treats for $1-5, including Au Mandarin’s famous pork dumplings, P.J. Clarke’s always popular mini-cheeseburgers, Starbucks’ Hot Chocolate, and Financier’s Blueberry Panna Cotta. See below for full menu.

Live musical accompaniment will be provided by All Night Cookin’, a four-piece bluegrass band whose mix of raw energy and virtuosity have made them a favorite among the city’s rock fans and bluegrass traditionalists alike.

Thousands are expected to attend the popular event, which is held three times per year. Brookfield Properties, the owner of the World Financial Center, will embrace the principles of its “GO GREEN” campaign by ensuring that all plates, knives, forks and napkins from the event are made from recycled materials and are biodegradable.
